in the last three months I've had a period every two weeks- I've got an appointment at dr's on Monday. Anyone got any idea what might be happening?

nope, but you should be careful to top up your iron levels. That's a lot of blood loss over three months

are you on mini-pills or the coil? i had periods every two-three weeks on POPs (progestin only pill). don't take them anymore and will never use progestin-based contraception again - it also caused me to break out in cystic acne, killed my sex drive and exacerbated my depression.

if not, could be fibroids, endometriosis, but best to go to doctor's and start the process of trying to find out.

no not on any pills at all and yes I will start to take iron, feeling really run down.

try Floradix. Its a liquid iron supplement. Gets into your system quicker than iron tablets and doesnt constipate you. Hope you get on ok at the doctors.

Tasa, I will be interested to hear what your doctor says as I've got exactly the same problem - had not got round to seeing the doctor yet as was thinking maybe its to do with my age (45 - premenopause?!), buts its beginning to get me down so will try and remember to make an appt next week too.

Any news Tasa?

My cousin had this - it turned out to be fibroids in the end.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as Tasa. Since I gave birth 7 mo ago I'm either bleeding or have a horrible brown discharge. I have had the coil fitted and don't now if this is causing the problem or not. Am going to have to get it checked out - just haven't had time yet.
