At 6mths old we gave dd her first vacs (going slow as DS had bad reaction). Two weeks later she gets a rash all over , a bit like heat rash and her nappy area got really bad and we had to use steroid cream. Anyway gave her her second lost of vacs last week (she is now 14mth) and again she has developed a rash. It is not as bad a first one but I deffo think there is a link to vacs. I mentioned it to Nurse but she seemed puzzled.

Anyone else had experience of this???

I can't help directly, but DS had a similar rash after his prevenar vaccine. The immunologist (we paid for the vaccine privately) said it was due to him already having immunity to one of the varients in the jab. So his body was fighting it IYKWIM.
I don't know if this helps but as the DPT is a combination vaccine then perhaps it's a similar thing. I'd get clarification though before giving the third dose.
Hope this helps a little.

Also how long did the rash last and did he have other symptoms?

Thanks

Prevenar is the vaccine that protects against pneumoccocal menengitis. We thought it shocking that it wasn't available on NHS. You only have to read any of Amyjade's posts to realise how devastating it can be.
He had rash, slight fever and bad nappies.
