How bad would it be to share eye drops with DD?

I have conjunctivitous and have just got some drops otc from pharmacist

DD (2 in may) has woken up with gunky red eye .. it really can't be anything else

how bad would it be to use my eye drops for her (suitable from age 2) .. I know I don't ever touch my eyeball with them?

in theory you shouldnt as they eyedrops could have touched part of your eye area without you realising it.

You could get your Dr to prescribe drops for DD then they would be free Smile. If getting an appt is a hassle etc, I use cooled camomile tea on DD whenever she gets sticky eye from nursery and it works a treat.

You shouldn't share drops as you and DD may have different infections and it could end up with you cross infecting each other. I'd stick her on the tea solution pending a visit to Drs or to pharmacy to buy chloramphenicol
