DD has a rash around her mouth - what should I do?

She's 21 months and she has her last few teeth coming though. She constantly dribbles and I think that this is what's causing the rash. It doesn't seem to be bothering her but it looks awful and I'm sure that if it gets any worse it will get sore. I'm not sure what to use to protect the skin as it's so close to her mouth.

She has a dummy but only for sleeping. I keep the area as dry as possible but I'm fighting a losing battle.

Any ideas?

TIA

vaseline will provide a good moisture barrier and help sooth. Also sterilise the dummies as they will be a bit manky if she's used them with a rashy mouth!
