Changes in Pigmentation mark on face

It was a small patch that appeared (when pg with ds2 in 2011) on my cheek, about the size if my little fingernail and pale brown.

Yesterday it had raised and still is now.

Has anyone else experienced changes in marks like this?

Yes, I had this a while back. Am ancient (early 50s), so thought it was an age spot of some sort. It was just a brown mark, then after a few months, it went quite flaky and a bit sore, like eczema. I left it for a while, then, just as I started to think I should go to the doctors, it just went and has not returned. Very odd.

Yes, I have had 'sun spots' that have started to raise a little - and itch, too. They are solar lentignae (sp?!) or age spots, but I have had them checked out by the GP each time just in case.

Personally, I would go get it checked out - not worry about it, because its almost certainly ok, but best to be safe.

I rang the Dr today and am in Friday. I did used to hammer the sunbeds in my younger days and stopped about 6yrs ago.

Its more sensitive than the rest of my skin too.
