Just met GP who diagnosed chest infection and flu. It's apparently doing the rounds and can take 3 weeks to build up in the body, starting with a minor cough, head and body ache and exhaustion and then picks up steam as a chesty cough with very high temperature that does not respond to paracetamol or ibuprofen. I feel quite crap and my whole body hurts from coughing so much!
Anyone else in the same boat? What are you using to help the cough and aches and fever? I have tried steam and Vicks - helps, but not much.
