Horrible cold and sweating at night

Hello, just need some quick advice. I am on day 10 of a nasty virus, no longer feverish but still have runny nose and cough and feel exhausted. Still not much of an appetite. I have noticed that I am sweating more, especially at night. Is this a symptom of my virus? I have no worrying lumps, however i do have health anxiety and worry about the sweats being a cancer red flag. Thanks.

Hi, I had the same thing as you, I'm now on day 15, and I am pretty much better, I had all the same symptoms you describe: night sweats, loss of appetite, a cough and a sore throat (only at the beginning) and a feeling of utter exhaustion which lasted for days.

us too; day 7 now. It started with a cough and tiredness, and then high fever lasting 3 days, no appetite, aches all over, a terrible headache, dizziness. I was aware that i had most of the symptoms of pneumonia .....but I'm slowly recovering now so it can't have been.......thank heavens...also diarrhoea for good measure. I just want to now what the this horrible virus is! It's a monster! Is it a new strain on flu i wonder? All 4 of us have it, dh and eldest never really ill normally. Today I am actually on the computer though, so getting there. But I think it could be the worst virus we've ever had. Complan, smoothies, honey, i know the drill. The exhaustion is staggering though!
