sorry if tmi... dd is 4.5, when she got undressed for a bath complained her bits hurt. she had very small greenish marks in her pants and she did look very red/sore in her front bottom, so to speak

about 1.5 weeks ago she finished a course of antibiotics for an ear infection, could it be thrush? or just from not wiping properly??

btw she has previously had a urine infection, but never noticed this problem before.

Does she have pain on passing urine or is she running to the toilet?

If not chances are she has thrush. You could ask your pharmasist for some sutiable cream (canesten) and make an appt to get her urine checked.

Its not uncommon for antibiotics to cause thrush, but best to have her urine checked to be on the safe side

thanks chapsmum.
will def. get her urine checked as it was a bad infection before and she was v. poorly - don't want that again.
