Milk tooth has moved

DS is 3 and today fell over in the playground and banged his mouth and I've now noticed that one if his top front teeth has moved position ever so slightly, it's just gone back a little.
Tbh I doubt that most people would even notice but me, DP and my mum can tell .
This only came to light late this afternoon so I wasn't able to speak to the dentists and I don't think they're open tomorrow, I don't even know if they will be open at all now until after Xmas? Maybe they will on Monday?

Anyway, I just wondered if anybody has known this to happen before and whether it was ok?

My mum suggested trying to push it back in to place but I'm scared of loosening it more.

I'm also worried that the tooth might die. Anybody know if that's likely?

I'm not too bothered about the tooth not being in the exact same positing as it was, it really isn't noticeable, I'm more concerned that its going to cause problems down the line.

dd fell and hit her mouth off the coffee table at around that age. Her front tooth got pushed quite far back and there was lots of blood. We took her to the hospital and dentist and and after x-rays they decided just to leave it as it was. It gradually moved forward again (not quite all the way) but didnt discolour or fall out until her adult tooth came through. Her adult teeth were fine too.

Your dd's tooth may go grey or it may not, there isnt any way to tell. It is best for the milk tooth to stay where it is as it holds the space free for the adult tooth.
