I have been cursed with the stuff for the past three or four weeks – lots of dry white flakes floating shoulder wards
I have been stressed with work, health and family issues so that is contributing I am sure
Have a number of swollen lymph nodes (gp thinks) on my head too and some minor abrasions (sounds better than scabs doesn’t it?!) so the old immune system is obviously under pressure
I’ve tried "head and shoulders" but to no avail (and sorry but I HATE the sight of those horrid bottles in my bathroom) am now trying some body shop ginger dandruff shampoo
Anyone have any other ideas? PLEASE HELP ME
My hair is long and dark reddish and those little white flakes look TRULY DISGUSTING

T-Gel anti dandruff shampoo has worked wonders for my dh - you can hide the bottle behind prettier ones.

Go one step better
Get an appt with your Gp and get them to prescribe you a shampoo with Ketoconazol in.
You can buy a weaker version in Boots but it's not as good.

Polytar and Ketopine is also really good. You can buy them over the counter.

Sunsilk make an anti-itch shampoo which is wonderful. Hair products make my head itch and this shampoo stops it completely. Good price too! Look for a beige bottle. Head and shoulders is very bad for your heair - so said my hairdresser when I told her that I used it.

You can perm your hair with H&S!

I was told it doesn't actually get rid of it, just sticks it together on your scalp.
