I've read virus remains active on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours and for 12 days on material .

And also that people whose symptoms are past are still "shedding " .

So if the person who is intent on visiting me tommorrow was vomiting on Wednesday morning ....I'm not safe am I ?

I really can't catch this bug .

nhs uk advise that a person must wait atleast 48hours after the last time they vomit / have diarroeah (which ever was last) before coming into contact with someone else. its like that the clothes there wearing isnt contaminated but i would tell them to stay away til the weekend atleast, dont risk it
