This norovirus

Has worked it's way through every member of my household. Lovely.

However one family member who had been symptom free for 3 days and had started eating and drinking normally suddenly started again with the D&V.

Anyone else encountered this?

I think I've seen several people post over the past few weeks that there seems to be a D+V bug about that comes back after about 48hrs of being clear.

The other possibility (though more usual with D and not V) is that the flora and fauna of the gut are upset by the original virus, and gut just stays reactive for a bit. Bland food and lots of water...
