Good news or bad!??

I been to the doc today as I found a strange fatty lump just below my cheek bone. Doc said it was just a simple swollen lymph node and wud clear up, if it hasn't in 6 weeks to go back. I have had a slight cold and head cold so im thinkin that's y it is swollen.. But now I'm scared incase it doesn't go down within 6 weeks, I'm 21 good Health but worry way to much any out every illness down to the C word. Some one please help!

Well, it's very very very very likely not the big C. If that was suspected, you'd have been referred on.

So I know it's tough, but best thing to do is mark 6 weeks hence in your diary, try to forget about it and have a lovely Christmas. Then when the 6 weeks has come round, if it's still there, go back to doc.

Well suppose I have no choice but to do that. I just wish I didn't worry so much as I have a young girl and don't want it to rub off on her. I just really hope it's gone in 6 weeks or less. If not i will be a whirlwind of worry thinking its swollen due do something life threatening but the doctor said im yound and it's unlickly
