Verruca - peeling off around the edges

Hi my 6yo daughter has had a verruca for @6 months or so - it has recently started to cause some pain. This eveing she caught her toe nail in it - it's on the underside of her foot - and it looks like it should pull off although it's quite big and rooted all around the middle still. Does anyone have advice in what I should do.

Put a load of bazooka verucca stuff on it. I wouldn't pull it off if its big with roots.

Don't pull it off! Soak in the bath and then give it a hard rub with pumice stone, then cover in duct tape. Repeat for up to 3 month.
It works, promise - you just need patience and perseverance. I had one that even the podiatrist gave up on, and I got rid of it that way (yes). It was my life's achievement to date :)

What if the bazooka stuff goes underneath the skin flap where the verruca is??

Bazooka is basically high potency salycilic acid I think. So unless you put it on an open (ie bleeding) wound I think you'd be fine. :)

Bazooka - only thing that worked with my DS - and I tried everything else including duct tape and nail varnish

if not the please dont!!! it will be excrutiating and you cant wash it off [bitter experience emoticon]

I haven't she's just come out of the bath. What do you suggest I do? Is it a good sign that it's going to come off? I was thinking of putting a soft padded plaster on it?

dunno, but when mine pulled off like that I protected it with a pad until it was all rejoined and properly embedded again (yuk) then restarted treatment
