My 4 month old ds has a rash on his stomach and back. It's quite pale but there are lots of little lumps which feel quite rough. Any ideas what it could be?

I haven't changed washing powder or his formular etc etc etc

Does it blanch?

I rolled a glass over it and it dissapeared, is that what you mean?

He's had it for about a week - it doesn't seem to bother him at all.

Sounds like eczema to me.

Has he had any immunisations recently? My DD came out in a rash shortly after hers, it disappeared after a few days..

Does it get worse when he's upset/agitated? I would have thought eczema would have bothered him, tho I may be wrong!

We were told to avoid any scented products and to use a cream like E45 after the bath.

It could be a post viral rash. DS has had these a couple of times, once after jabs and once after chickenpox (v.confusing).
