how long should an allergy rash take to go down?

I had an allergy rash that lasted a week once when I first realised I was allergic to penicillin

dd2 devoloped a rash on her face on thursday. on sunday it had spread to her arms legs and back. GP says its an allergy rash. i still think its looks like rubella type rash.

I was told by the chaps immunologist not to e surprised it the rash lasted for 10-14 days after the point of exposure!Shock

really? oh blimey. so it culd be an allergy then. her cheeks are very flared still, especially one side.

ah, the face paint thing???

Well the other thing is that some viral infections produce an allergy type rash, again it is not uncommon for this to last for 14 days, re-occuring when she is hot etc!

oh no, i dont let face paints near my kids. no way.

she was out in the garden when i mowed the lawn so could be connected to that.
