my dd, 18 months, has a horrible virus and is off food and most fluids but i have been given a liquid antibiotic to give her. i have tried concealing it in all sorts of things including petits filous and milk but to no avail. how can i get her to take it (and is it ok to mix it with milk anyway?)

hi, with dd3 2, I give it into the side of her mouth with a syringe which the chemist will give you and have a chocolate button standing by for afterwards. With ds1 i used to get the antibiotics in tablet form and crush them in chocolate spread Grin

Afraid to say brute force would only work with ds (dh or I holding him down and making him have it) until now where he takes it beautifully and asks for more..

If she has a virus an antibiotic won't do anything anyway.
