bleeding but still a weeks worth of pill left?

I hope someone can help put me at ease. Although I still have a weeks worth of pill left, I have started to bleed. I have been on the pill almost a year and this hasn't happened before so I am a little freaked out. Has this happened to anyone else, and should I go to the doctor?

It has happened to me before and I got my pill changed. Dont think it is anythinmg to worry about but you should see doctor anyway. Good luck.

Yeah, happened to me several times. Can sometimes be stress related or you might just need a different pill. I'm sure it is absolutely nothing to worry about.

happened to me last cycle and i mentioned to doctor as i was seeing him anyway. he sent me for a smear as i hadn't had one for a while but that was fine. the nurse at the smear says see if it happens again and if he does then probably need to change pill. This cycle it has been fine so I will keep an eye on it. annoying though when it happened!
