Bird Flu - Unnofficial As Yet, 2 Dead swan/goose Teesside?

s.i.l been in hospital(dont want to say where as dont want to scare monger) and one was found just outside hosp doors..staff laughed saying it had come for treatment??? and one was supposedly found in a town centre..the first is definate, dont know who 'told' her about second?
but not heard anything about more findings, especially not here?Shock

Could be some loony killing pigeons and planting them to scaremonger, perhaps? I have a feeling that there will be a spate of so-called practical jokes involving dead birds.

Never heard anything about this but did hear on the news that the swan found in Scotland could have drifted here from Germany.

no, i only heard today from sil??but she was actually in hosp when they 'found' it? but dont know if second one was a tall tale?
