Cervix hurts I think from Mirena

I had a mirena inserted 14 days ago and initially the first few days my cervix felt like it was being pinched by a clothes peg. The pain has now re emerged (pinched feeling) and I'm at my wits end. The bleeding is heavier than ever with clots and I just see know end insight. I initially had this 'thing' inserted to alleviate heavy periods from a thickened endometrium.

could you go and get it checked to see if it is in the proper position - it may have moved and that is why it is uncomfortable

I would also go and have it checked; they can always scan you and see if it is in correctly. I've had 2 and because of endometriosis and weird biology my body kept expelling them so I've had quite a few positioning scans.
