good idea to take DD swimming just getting over a cold?

Would like to take DD swimming tomorrow now its the hols but she it just getting over a snotty cold and chesty cough. Should I leave it a bit longer? What would you do?

I would probably take my kids, but just make sure they are completely dry (including hair) before I took them home.

Thanks kid. My DD is 14 months old but has a huge amount of hair and I always dry it with hair dryer anyway. Will deffo do this after swimming too.

The way I look at it, they still have a bath when they have a cold and most swimming pools are quite warm. Its just more important to dry them completely before going outside.

I am intending to take DD and DS swimming at some point during the holidays. DS does have a bit of a cold or rather a very snotty nose.
