Help, blue inside DD's ears!

DD has been using sodium bicarbonate ear drops, prescribed by the dr, for about a week. Her ears are now blue inside. She promises me she hasn't put anything in them. Is it the drops doing this or do I need to investigate further? There was no leaflet with the drops to check.

If they are both blue it's likely to be the drops. If one is blue it is probably something else (felt tip?).

They are both blue. Cannot find anything that says this could be a side effect though. Would a trip to the pharmacist help do you think?

My DS put plasticine in his ears. We discovered this months after the event.

Probably the drops but you could go to a drop in to check.

Oh no :( would you be interested in my words of wisdom on this having been through it with DS? We learned a lot following attempts at extraction and then having to have surgical removal under GA?..

Oh thanks, fool, would have been great but I'm too late! They thought they'd have to remove under GA but she managed to stay still enough for them to pick it to pieces and Hoover it out!

I think she's learnt her lesson! Grin

This is exactly what happened with my son but he had to have a GA.
