Atos home visit - what to expect?

Hi all,

Has anyone else here had a home visit from Atos? They're coming to assess me as part of my DLA claim on Friday, and I haven't a clue what to expect.

I had one a few weeks ago. Do you have anyone that can be with you? My daughter was with me and let him in, he asked a few questions, looked at the medications I was on and declared me unfit for work. 4 weeks later I received notification but what the letter didn't state was if I still have to provide sick notes - which is what I was going to post up to ask when I saw your post!

If there's anything else you want to know pm me.

Thanks for your reply, rubycon. I'm going to get all my prescriptions out so he/she can see everything I take, keep my crutches nearby etc. I'm a part-time student and don't have sick notes, but I do have a letter from my surgeon covering my condition/symptoms/levels of pain. My friend (a GP) said if they say "how are you today?" do not reply politely with "I'm fine" as it's a trick question. ;)
