I occassionally get palpitations no a lot maybe one very couple of weeks but the past few days I have been getting them loads! On and off all day! They lasted an hour almost constant last night and today there on and off more on than off it's driving me insaine! I'm worried I'm a Carer for dd and i dread going
to gp incase he says something wrong! I can't afford to be 'under the weather' :(

hi
i had a problem for a while with an intermittent slow heart rate and had a ecg test, the doc put it down to the amount of coffee i drank Hmm i admit i did drink loads but i thought it would speed it up not slow it down.
could this be a reason for your palpitations do u think ?

It's probably innocent, but of course you should see your GP - you know that anyway!

Being a carer for your dd makes it doubly important to keep a check on your own health. Even if there is a problem found, there will be a treatment (and maybe a huge wait ). Chances are, you will be told that it's fine. But isn't it better to get an ECG and have your doctor tell you that, than a stranger on the internet with absolultely no medical qualifications Smile.
