My ds had mmr jab on 30th - Thurs. He had a severely high temp from Fri Morning. This developed until he went very pale listless & shivering when i took him outside. I took him to nurse but as i had given Calpol the fever had gone down and he seemed more himself. Nurse said not the reaction she would expect after MMR. But his temp kept returning. He finally became so feverish he was sick at bedtime and if i hadn't been able to get Calpol in him at midnight i would have called doctor. Fever broke Saturday night but he woke for 4 hrs screaming last night. Still off food as well. This is not normal reaction is it? Everyone says its a week after you notice? More himself again now but could it be a coincidence that he's fighting some other germ?
