Off to see a consultant tomorrow regarding my very heavy periods / fibroids. His receptionist mentioned when the appointment was made that I'll probably have a hysteroscopy. To be honest, I wasn't terribly impressed to be notified about this over the phone and have subsequently googled the procedure. Anyone have any experience of this and would care to share? TIA
