Going to over share here (!) but fanjo issues post IUD insertion

I had the copper coil inserted about three weeks ago, no pain on insertion, bled a bit for a week but nothing out of ordinary however I am having what can only be described as the most annoying itch on my cervix (not like thrush) and no discharge. I can also feel it every now and again, makes me feel like I want to push it out IYKWIM??

Anyone else had this? I can find/feel the string so that is good.

Yes, I too felt like my body wanted rid and on one occasion it slipped slightly and the pain was awful! Akin to labour. Sorry but I had nothing but problems the 3 times I tried with the coil. Got infection after infection. If you can use another method my advice would be do it.

Everyone is different though, it may well work for you
