Feel v sorry for myself

Laryngitis since Monday; sore throat & cough since weekend

also have sore tongue which is reoccuring so dr has taken blood tests for anemia

have to stamp my foot to get childrens' attention - DS keeps telling everyone he meets that "mummy's lost her voice"

I've had it. When i called up the NHS helpline (i managed to talk enough) the woman suggested face over bowl of hot steaming water (careful not to scold face) with a towel over head trick. Seemed to work for me :)

Oh no! So sorry. But I must admit the image of you stamping for your childrens' attention cracked me up. Grin

Hope you are better soon.

How are you otherwise? How is your x-twat behaving? Does he pick up the kids? And has SHE met them? Sorry, if it's none of my business. Just haven't seen you in a while.

Sounds like your doing a nice job of moving on and regaining your strength -- and happiness too I hope.

When I was at Uni I had laryngitis, and I was a tlker in class, and I was so frustrated cause I couldn't answer any of the questions. Oh it was so frustrating. I do sympathise.

mistressmiggins · 31/03/2006 17:01

my laryngitis isnt any better (if not worse)

how on earth can you rest your voice when you have 2 young children Angry stupid DR

he said it would be better by today but its worse if anything. My throat feels like someone has cut it open

at least I have MN - I cant talk in RL - who says MN is not as good as RL friends Grin
