I seem to have developed a rash, any suggestions?

I'm itching all over my arms, behind my knees and back. I've looked at the nhs website and it says could be a reaction to strawberries. I had some this morning. Never ever had a reaction before. I just don't know what else it can be. I've not changed the washing powder or soap and i've not been out today. I don't think it's from a bite. What can I do, it itches like mad. Don't have any piriton unfortunately Sad.

The only thing I have had that i've not had before is some different coffee but that can't be it surely.

Sounds like the same rash i get from starwberries. Have had mine for years but dr said it can come on at any time.
When it goes down try the coffee again if nothing happens try a strawberry or two.

Thanks. How long does it take to stop itching normally? Also I would have thought if it was the strawberries that i'd have got it earlier but I just dont know what else it could be.

Not sure really. With strawberries it can take a few hours for my rash to appear but goes by the next day.
Try drinking plenty of water, if you still have no joy get some bicarb of soda, mix with a little water into a paste and spread it on. That should stop the itching. I would goto the chemist tomorrow and get them to have a look aswell.

Let me know how you get on!

I will. I wish I had some piriton! It has made me think though. Maybe i've had this before only not quite as bad. I think i'll lay off the strawberries for a while Sad. I don't eat oranges either, haven't since I was a child as they make me itch too.

Hahaha mine are anything red actually....Weird.
My friend is allergic to lemons so it seems quite a common thing.
