So IF your baby had rubella would they then need a vaccine?

Hello all.
DD is in her 5th day of a red rash all over, worse on her limbs and comes and goes on her face. The G.P on Friday said it's not measles or rubella as her galnds aren't swollen and no white spots in mouth and it's just viral.
I'm not worried as now she is o.k herself, still off her food and sleeping alot and clingy but not really poorly.
Having looked at Rubella pictures though, it looks really like that to me. So hypothetically, if it was Rubella would she then need the vaccine too? (i go for singles anyway so wouldn't affect the measles one)

my sister had rubella as a baby and when they did a titre on her before she had her first child, she was immune to it still.

I don't relish the thought of a blood test on her though and i feel like i'm going over the Doctors head but i just think it looks just like it and she's had the days of high temperature over the weekend.
Can't bear the thought of giving her the jab now though! Oh what a to do!
