Sore throat, was mainly when I swallowed, but now is constantly there.

But just on one side. What could be causing this?

One of you glands?

doinmummy · 21/10/2012 18:41

Probably a coldly type virus, have you got white spots on your tonsils? If so you have tonsillitis . Poor you .

TheBigKidsDidIt · 21/10/2012 22:48

Allergy? I get weird sore throats when allergic.

narmada · 21/10/2012 22:54

I often have sore throats on one side only. Is this abnormal??? I think it's normal.

Are your gums sore one one side or anything like that?

SecretCervix · 22/10/2012 16:25

Haven't got tonsils so can rule that out for definite! :) Possibly glands I'm thinking as DP says one side of throat feels swollen. Nothing else is sore, throat soreness is kind of echoing into right ear iyswim.

I have called GP and am awaiting a callback as its not shifting and im popping paracetemol like it is going out of fashion and I am worried I may harm the baby even though you can take them whilst pregnant and am taking them as directed on the box.
