As a mother of a victim to accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, during these colder months I would like to alert everyone to the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning in the home. Please make sure all fuel burning appliances (including cookers) are regularly maintained, gas appliances by a Gas Safe engineer and chimneys swept. Make sure you and adjoining properties (CO can seep in from next door) have an audible CO alarm. Please watch a youtube video we have made:
