Beta Blockers?!

Hey

Still struggling with palpitations Everyday curently on Propranolol

They make me feel tense and after taking a tablet I feel like my heart thuds
With a little fluttering too.

But when I take my pulse its normal?

Has anyone felt the same on these? Or have an idea of aa better beta blocker I might be able to switch too?

Beta blockers don't just slow your heart rate they increase the stregnth of the contraction, so you are feeling that.

Oh okay thank you that has put my mind at rest

I took beta blockers for migraines for a while and felt the same. I could feel my heart beating and it did feel like palpitations. They didn't help the migraines and made me feel very down so I stopped them.
