will go to doc about this i think
as mine start, day 3 dwindle, come back maybe 2 days and go then dwindle. maybe 10days, not much but annoying , and maybe a sign of something more serious - mild panic

Mine seems to start very slowly and then get bit heavy and dwindle (as you put it) and goes on for a whole week - bit of a pain in the ar*. 10 days is obviously even more of a pain but sure not dangerous - but no idea. Worth a call to your GP or practice nurse.

Hope all is well.

thought i go the alternative route and use agnus castus for a month and see if that helps normalise them.!

5 days on, two days off, five days back on(light flow), PITA, roll on the menopause!

HappyMumof2 · 27/03/2006 18:11

mine have been lasting longer, around a week, since I missed 3. I've been taking Agnus Castus, I think it may have been what brought them back, but it's not effected the length of them

rumtumtigger · 27/03/2006 18:24

Mine match purple princess FWIW

a 10 day period is totally normal - but a change in the pattern of your periods is not, so if 10 days is not normal for you then you should get checked out.

Ellaroo · 27/03/2006 18:41

Yes, two days of really heavy period, then two days with nothing and then it starts again and lasts really lightly for another 3 days. Very annoying, but don't think it's probably anything to worry about. It seems to change after each baby....am not going to have another to try and get a shorter cycle though!Grin
