Is there a reason for heavy or lighter periods?

Or it is just luck whether you are blessed with light ones?

I think it's luck. Unless you have a medical condition for heavy periods - like fibroids. Mine were much lighter pre-kids.

Have just started the pill again so hoping it might calm mine - i know how you feel re giving birth - its nasty - and i had 2 babies to deal with at the same time!

Have you thought about asking your GP about the possiblity of having endometriosis or fibroids? Just in case... it would be better to know! I should really do it myself!!

What's a light period anyway? Never had one yet. Sheets and PJs went into soak an hour ago, and the washer is just startingAngry I'm fully padded,(we're talking Pampers here girlsBlush) ready for the school run, hoping that I can survive an hour in the car and no traffic jams pleeease. My head feels full of cotton wool and I just ache right through. Guess I'm grounded for the week again Sad
