Dummy that doesn't irritate the face?

DS is 14 months and gets a rash around his mouth from his dummy which he only has to help him sleep for naps and at night. We are using the MAM Air variety, but even that doesn't stop the irritation from the saliva and friction from sucking.

I'm also using epaderm as a barrier but it seams to wear off quickly at night.

Does anyone know of a brand that has minimal face contact? I've heard of wone which is like a teat with a large handle?? I've searched online but can't find anything resembling that.

I'm terrified I'm going to have to ditch the dummy and with a teething 14 month old, it feels too soon!

We had to ditch the dummy. It was stuck to ds2's face in the morning. Sad He got over it very quickly.
