2 weeks and 2 days in with what my go has diagnosed as sciatica.

Basically woke up with it. Have lots of tablets, but it's not getting any better! How long does it take to improve??

I still have constant pins and needles in my foot that the doctor described as 'dead' when he hammered it. My knee muscles? Just isn't working and I can't walk normally not even if I could bear the pain..,,,there is just nothing there.

I don't have the 'typical' sciatica symptoms apparently. No shooting pains and no bum pain :/

I hate my leg, any tips on how to speed this up then I would be most grateful :)

Sciatica is a symptom of something else - it is 'transferred pain' so I was told by my physio. I had coccydynia and a suspected disc displacement that causes my sciatica (I was 26 at the time).

Get yourself checked over by a physio, who should be able to help.

All the best x

yes i agree with Molotov

my sciatica is triggered by lower back issues - Physio is a v good idea

so is acupuncture - sounds a bit woo but actually works.

Go and see a good chiropractor. I get it sometimes and also in my arm. Chiro sorts it right out.
