Well I'm astounded ... I've just discovered after all this time that exercise can be FUN!

Honestly, I used to hate it with a passion and always thought I was useless at it(think last-choice-pick-for-the-hockey-team type person). Never done any structured exercise since I left school, apart from swimming like a mad thing during each pregnancy.

Anyhow, we've just started up a Fitness Club in our local village, and I'm going along once a week to do aerobics - started off with Rosemary Conley and have now moved on to Davina - bloody hard work but am amazed to discover that a) I'm a lot fitter than I thought I was and b)I'm actually quite good at it!! Might not sound much but this is a HUGE revelation for one who always thought she was rubbish at anything that involved getting out of breath...

I feel very virtuous and healthy ... just need to get my tummy as flat as Davina's now Wink

Yeah, Miaow, well done!!! It's fab! I had a similar revelation about 6 years ago, like you I was always picked last for hockey too, the only thing I was every any good at was long distance running but that wasn't an every week event at School. I have barely missed a week in the last six years that I haven't at least gone to one class.

However if you find out how to get a tummy like Davina's, let me know, six years on I still haven't sussed that one out. Grin
