Another Mri scared, fed up when will I be well.

Long long story, don't expect any answers just want to get my thoughts down, and no one I can talk too.
After 18 months of ill health feel like I've lost all logic and me.
Have a Neuro problem and auto immune condition, very rare (lucky me) haven't been right since it all started but have had another downturn in the last couple of weeks there is now a question wether I have two conditions, they re questioning Ms.
Saw a Neuro today, and he's booked me in for an mri in the next two weeks.
Feel like I'm going bonkers

Sorry you are having a bad time, I remember your thread when you were in hospital (was it last Christmas? Sorry if I am wildly out). Your post isn't indulgent at all, especially if you don't really have any one to talk to in rl.

I really hope these new tests manage to shed some light, you sound like you are stuck in some sort in limbo land which must be horrid.

I wish I had more helpful words, but I can only offer a ((hug)) and a hope that things start to improve.

Thanks so much gobblers, you have a great memory, yes had lung surgery last nov and had an awful infection and was in hospital a long time. Have a fantastic Dh and mum I'm very lucky both are convinced I'll just get better, but feeling more each week that this is it.
The mri will comparing results from this time last year to see if any change.
Limbo land is totally right, if one more person asks me if I'm better now I may scream :) nobody wants to hear after a year that actually you feel like crap

Poor you, I really hope the results are a lot less scary than you think, it is horrible to feel like that and to feel there will be no end, I can can totally relate to that feeling of being trapped in it and the 'pressure' to magically become 'well' as I have had my fair share of mental health problems.

Sorry, wasn't trying to muster sympathy , I am, fingers crossed, ok atm, after enough pills to make me rattle when shook and much therapy, I seem to be on the right track.

How is your mood with everything that is going on? I jut wondered if anxiey could be adding to your symptoms, I know only to well how closely anxiety can mirror quite a lot of neuro things, sorry again if I am miles off mark, just thinking out loud.

you're aloud sympathy too :) anxiety defiantly plays a part too, coping with the kids adding to the stress when 90% of me trying to be a wonderful mother, and 10% of me just wanting to rest and hide in a dark room till I'm well.

Been asked twice today if I'm better now :(

Didn't think your post sounded indulgent at all! You sound like you have really been suffering. Start to growl loudly at people who ask if you are better now! (I sooo would.)
Always a sympathetic ear here. Hoping scan rules OUT anything other than what you know you already have. Poor you.

That's so intresting shitmagnet I'm on methotrixate too! Never thought it could be the cause, although symtoms almost exactly the same as first episode a year ago before the methotrixate.
I have neurosarcoidosis which can have very similar symtoms to ms hence the problem.
I saw a neurosarcoidosis speciallist on September who things the mri looks more de milination than granulation hence the ms question mark.
Will defiantly ask about the methotrixate though.
