Back to work - do you mention a serious illness

I posted this in work but thought I might get more responses here.

I have been seriously ill and am just coming out the other side.
Starting to feel like I could do a few hours work a week.

The debate is if I apply for a job, do I tell them about my major illness or not.

Yes.

I have only just found out that cancer is considered to be a disability for a year after dx, now that I'm 18m post dx. You can ask for Reasonable Adjustments at work if you have a disability, but you can't if they don't know.

I had a brain tumour and stroke so am left with many disabilities. If i go into the disabilities, i wont have a chance at gettin the job.
