ache in ovaries for a month?

I think I had a stomach bug last month, and have ben having IBS symptoms, with cramps from under ribs, but also dull ache around my ovaries which hasn't gone away after my period. Have also been feeling a bit off in general. It is not painful, just niggling ache around ovaries area that comes and goes throughout the day. I am really worried now, mainly about OC! Should I press for a scan?

I forgot, I went to GP last week, he did an external examination and couln't find anything, gave me Colpermin for IBS...

Anyone?

In my experience you have to visit the Doctor about the the same complaint at least three times before they sit up and notice, makes me sick!
