The appointment has finally come round for ds 11yrs to be tested to see if he has the same cardiac condition as me I am praying he hasn't and have started to really feel shakey as the day approaches(tomorrow)He is fairly cool about it although I have played down the serious side until we are 100% sure We are going to the cinema and for a pizza afterwards so that has distracted him just me and dp to calm down now!

Can't stop smiling and all the signs I used to see in him were obviously imagined Any little thing he did even vaguely resembling me as a child had me running for the smelling salts!

pindy · 24/03/2006 11:34

And I bet you don't give a damn about the cost of the trip!! or the spending money he will want. Great, go for it and I hope he has a brilliant time!!

noddyholder · 24/03/2006 12:15

No the money is irrelevant now even though I am trying to be fairly frugal atm!Allowed him to drink crappy fizzy orange in a restaurant for lunch after the tests followed by huge ice cream sundae swimming in vile sauces and stuff Just so happy he is ok!
