Ive just had several blood tests done, all have come back normal including a gamma liver function test but the blood count came back high mcv. I've spoken to the doctor who has said its due to drinking too much ( I drink about 3 glasses of wine a night) and need to cut right down but didn't give me any more info. Should I be worried? Does this mean my liver Is damaged even though gamma test is normal?
