Nosebleeds in 3 month old

DD2 has another cold (her 3rd so far) and she seems to get nosebleeds when she has a cold. They are not major ones but nonetheless it's not a nice sight to see a baby with a bloody nose.

Is this common, or should I be worried?

Is there anything I can do to prevent them?

TIA.

pennies, children have a large blood flow to theri noses, The blood supply is so good they can have drugs like morphine administered intranasally.
You could try applying vaseline to her nose to give it a bit of protection. steam inhales to help decongest etc. If the nosebleed persist I would mention it to your gp or hv just so they can give her the once over. HTH
