Brothers triple by pass has failed........

Hi my brother had a by-pass three years ago and has been developing angina type symptoms over the last two years. Yesterday we took him for an angiogram and he has been told that two out of the three new arteries are fully blocked. They said they cannot be re-done, the only hope is to see if there is enough blood supply getting through one of them to try to put in a stent. He asked what would happen if they couldn`t, and it more or less seems his outlook is poor. Can anyone give any advice on this situation please?

Thank you.......its really worrying. I seem to have taken on the role of looking after him. We lost Mum on July 3rd and he has been so lost without her. He lives alone, divorced for 15 years, two daughters, one lives locally, the other in Solihull, but they dont look after him and hes so kind to everyone.

Hello Ginger.........you always seem to find me, yes more worry. I dont know what Ive done to deserve all of this. I just feel so sorry for him, everyone has been saying he just doesnt make enough effort to exercise etc, Mum was always worried about him, He is the eldest, I have four brothers, he has always been the weakest one. Its a case of wait and see, I just hope they get him up to St Thomass asap. Thanks for always popping up. xx

Thanks everyone. I saw my other brother y/day and he said he had had a long talk to Keith. He said he is not taking it seriously, he still insists that all the pains he has in his chest are still from a car accident he had in 2001, his chest was crushed badly. I saw the typed discharge report and it really couldnt be more serious. Fingers xd he gets a call this week for the scan.
