Apologies for tmi in advance ... it ain't pretty!

DD 18m had a tummy bug a week ago with all the works iykwim violent 'evacuation' both ends. At that stage his poo was VERY runny and sort of browny yellowy.

Since then it's improved to just squidgy but now it's beige.

He seems happy enough though, is a bit off his food still but still has lots of energy. Also suddenly the last 2 nighs he nearly slept through! Which in itself is a miracle.

anybody else had a lo with that kind of poo and should I drag him to the doc?

dd1 who is 4.5 had beige poo for 2 days last week, she wasn't ill just a bit off colour, like her poo Grin

wouldn't worry too much unless he seems really ill. you should hopefully find it returns to normal colour in a few days.

If he is happy, no temp, eating and drinking a little, don’t worry. I reckon it will sort itself out as his diet improves back to normal and the tummy recovers.
Mine have had similar reactions after a bug and turned out ok. If they are eating very little, plain food and tummy is still on a speedy "turn around" regarding evacuation then I guess it is only to be expected IYKWIM!!
I would be more worried if he was constipated or there was blood in there, otherwise would sit it out a little longer.

Great thread title! I just had to click on it to see who had written it!

I wouldn't take him to the doctor. It can take a long time for their little tummies to completely settle after a bug.

I shall wait and see then and keep adding a little ABCD to his food every morning :)
