Have been poorly and stressed for awhile, nothing major, all really brought on by work but felt a lot better after holiday until I had an upset stomach at the weekend. That cleared up pretty quickly but now feel like what I expect it must feel like to be 80!
Bones and joints ache. Just hanging out the washing is painful and leaves me knackered.
Have told DH that isn't that serious and should be fine after rest but am unsure what to do next, work are being very good and said not to rush back, I'm going to take CID liver oil and try and swim and eat oily fish.
Doea anyone have and experience of this and how long it takes to clear up? Dr said couple of weeks then have to go for blood tests.
Am quietly humming always look on the bright side if life hoping this is not a long term state of affairs.

Sorry to hear your going through this... It's familiar to me because I have rheumatoid arthritis, was diagnosed 14yrs ago after similar circumstances to you (mine didn't go away) I'm on drug therapy and nowadays it's relatively well controlled. Has your GP put you on any anti inflammitories ? This is usual whilst seeing how it progresses or if it'll go away.
Try wheat bags / ice packs on affected joints, baths are also good if you have somebody on standby to help you out.

Rest is also very important.

Oh Blimey wonky legs - that is awful.

I really thought this was just something that would just pass after a short amount of time.

I have been given diclofenic but it is causing me awful problems as I have an issue with my stomach producing too mcuh acid.

DH has been really good and decided that we shoud eat oily fish more often and bought cod liver oil.

Work are being good too - have had a week off and going back on monday but am going to ask that they let me do reduced hours if it gets too much. Taking minutes is going to be a laugh when my fingers keep seizing up!

Thank you for your advice wonkylegs - will make sure I spend lots of time in the bath and going to join the gym this weekend so I can sit in the spa and maybe try to do a bit of swimming.

Blimey, thanks shitmagnet, I am sorry you are still suffering, I had never heard of this before!
I still ache all over, went to look at a car with DH but felt do crsp had to come home. Normally I ignore illness and take the drugs and just get on with things but believe me I am going to take note of what you have said and just test up.
I wish there was something I could do to help you guys though!
