Bit of mucus in nappy

DD is 14 weeks and over the last few days i have found a bit of mucus in her nappy and around the vagina area. She is on infant gaviscon for reflux and sometimes her poo seems to get into her front passage. I try to clean her thoroughly with cotton wool & water. Does this sound like the gaviscon getting into her nooks & crannies or something else?

I phoned my hv in a fit of panick about this, turned out it was just snot that the chap was swallowing, it developed onto a cold a couple of days later!

Thanks Chapsmum - i've just come down with a stinker of a cold over the past 24 hours so it seems pretty likely that this is what she has too.
