I think I am worrying over nothing (I hope!) but I went for a smear today. I was nervous due to a previous bad experience (nurse put speculum in and then left the room to get someone whilst it was still in!)

I explained this to nurse and she was lovely and said we could take it at my pace which she did. She tried a normal speculum but it was too uncomfortable so she got a smaller one to try. This was much better but she couldn't see (find?) cervix, coughed and put my fists under bum and she said she could do the smear. She then asked is I'd had children and I said no why? She was then vague and tried to change the subject. I'm panicking now that I won't be able to conceive (when I do want to try for children) due to hidden cervix.

I know it's silly but it's been at the back of my mind all day :(

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. One of my friends always struggles at smear tests as they can never reach her cervix as its so high and tucked away.

She has 3 children :)

Thank you :) it just got me wondering why she even asked the question? But I know I need to just not worry unnecessarily :)
