My DD's seem run-down and a bit below par at the moment. They aren't eating as much fruit and veg as they used to, and although I'm working on that I would like to supplement their diet with a vitamin/mineral supplement for a while. But everything I look at has sweeteners and other crap in it. Any recommendations MN's?

Biocare Vitaforte powder. It's sweetened with banana and something else that sounds chemically, but was kosher when I checked it. Fructo-saccharides or something. It's good stuff.

we use Solgar Kangavites, mostly flavoured with fruit, though they do contain a small amount of sugar (better than aspartame etc, IMO). They have good decent levels of vitamins and minerals. You can only get them in a good health shop (I'm pretty sure H+B dont sell them).

floradix is great if they are low in iron, but most kids will hate the taste, although some kids dont mind it.

Ultralife do a powder you mix with water, orange or tropical taste. Again contain little bit of sugar, but NO artifical sweetners etc. They also do one called Fruit n Veg which we use now and again if they are going through a fussy eating phase or poorly/off food, it has 5 portions of fruit and veg in each glass, lots of vitamins and also fibre.

(I own a small health shop if you want any advice, we have found Solgar and Ultralife the ones that most kids seem to like)
